This policy governs licensing, land-use norms, and development standards for industrial colonies, logistics parks, warehousing hubs, and industrial townships in Haryana.
1. Objective
- To promote planned industrial development.
- To regulate warehousing, logistics, MSME parks, and industrial townships.
- To classify norms based on potential zones (Hyper/High/Medium/Low).
2. Minimum Land Requirement
- Industrial Colony: 5 to 25 acres depending on zone.
- Warehouse / Logistics Park: 2.5 to 10 acres depending on zone.
- Industrial Township: 100 acres or more.
3. Permissible Land-Use Distribution
- Industrial plots: 40–60%
- Warehousing/logistics: 20–40%
- Residential/Industrial Housing: 5–10%
- Commercial: 3–5%
- Parks/open areas: Min 10%
- Roads and civic services: Balance area
4. Development Controls
- FAR: 1.0–1.5 (use & zone dependent)
- Height: As per Haryana Building Code
- Fire & safety norms: Mandatory
- Truck parking & circulation: As per logistics standards
5. Licensing Process
- Apply for industrial colony license.
- Submit layout, financial statement & net worth.
- Provide bank guarantee for infrastructure.
- CLU approval mandatory.
